Alexandra Nell is a talented and driven actor, director, and producer who has established herself as a rising star in the Australian and US entertainment industry.

With a Bachelor’s degree in acting from the renowned National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Alexandra has honed her skills and become a sought-after performer, with her work appearing on prestigious platforms such as NETFLIX, ABC iview, and SBS On Demand and have been showcased at top-tier film festivals, including the St Kilda Film Festival, Melbourne International Film Festival, Austin Film Festival, Sydney Film Festival, and Flickerfest.

Alexandra's performances have earned her several awards, including 'Best Actress' at the 28th Annual Western Australian Screen Awards for her standout performance in the award-winning short film 'WE WERE HERE', and ‘Best Actress’ at the Northbound Film Festival in 2019 for her work on the sci-fi thriller, ‘ABDUCTION’.

At NIDA, Alexandra also won the 2014 Shakespeare Award for ‘Excellence in Classical Performance’, the 2015 Keith Bain Movement Award, and the 2016 Leslie Walford Award for ‘Creative Achievements’. She’s the first person in NIDA’s history to take out the three awards.

In addition to working in front of the camera, Alexandra has fearlessly delved into the world of directing and producing. Her love of storytelling and generating team morale led her to direct short films and documentaries and produce a variety of projects, including TVCs, music videos, stills campaigns, commissioned works, and even winning the 2022 Musicbed Competition for the spec video ‘Content Kingz’ directed by Melle Branson. Her debut short film ‘Hash Browns’ was recently in competition at St Kilda Film Festival, an Academy Award-qualifying film festival, and is currently being developed into a feature film with her directing partner, Cal Mclean under their production company banner Strange Harvest Productions.

Alexandra is represented by leading management companies BURBIDGE ARTISTS ENTERTAINMENT (US) and LINSTEN MANAGEMENT (Aus) and is SAG Eligible, with a valid Australian passport, US O1 visa, and Canadian work visa.
